Our church is also part of SAFE PLACE SCHEME in Stoke on Trent. It’s a place for vulnerable people to come and be safe.
Our Safer Places Scheme is a voluntary scheme that aims to assist vulnerable people with learning disabilities, autism and dementia to feel safer when travelling independently or when the need someone to talk to. The confidence to travel independently assists vulnerable people to maintain their independent living skills and helps with their wellbeing.
Scripture tells us that Christians should consider the interest of others and help those in need. If someone asks you to pray for them, then pray. If someone begs for some water, food, or money, then give it to them. When you do these righteous things you are doing God’s will, working for God, and bringing happiness and blessings on others.
